Religious discrimination / bigotry is prevalent even in the tattooing world…
So, I was basically let go from my job at the tattoo shop I worked at yesterday because my boss didn’t agree with the fact that I am openly atheist, talked about it on my Facebook, and a customer complained about it. Terminated from my job…because I am an atheist and post on Facebook about it. This is fucking ridiculous, stupid and a violation of my rights. Even worse, now I have nowhere to work at and no other option to make money because of my appearance and the trade I work in. This sucks due to the obvious fact that now it is going to be hard to take care of my bills as well as pay for the wedding my lady and I had planned on Halloween of this year and will probably have to postpone.
If anyone would like to get tattooed to help Kari and I until I get back to tattooing full time / find a shop to work at, hit me up. It would be appreciated and would definitely help us get our bills and stuff taken care of until then. Also, if you would like to donate to us to help with our bills and wedding in October, we would be eternally grateful.
Things are hard for an artist for a living, especially when we don’t have a shop to work out of, so anything would help. I’d prefer to tattoo you for it because I hate accepting a handout and not feeling like I work for something, but i’m kinda out of options at the moment. Anything helps.
